RIPPLES IN THE WATER
PARTICLES TRYING TO FIND THEIR WAY
IRREGULAR BEATS IN THE STEADY PULSE OF TIME
FLASHES OF COLOR IN GRAY NOTHINGNESS
I am quite fascinated by entropy. But before saying that, I should say that I am also a fan of putting things into perspective - and the bigger the scale, the better. So when I think about entropy, I think about the universe blending into one gray mass of… well, nothingness, really, which then makes me think about how small we all are, so meaningless in this infinite system that we live in. We are mere ripples in the water, nothing more. Particles trying to find their way, irregular beats in the steady pulse of time. That’s what we are. Flashes of color in gray nothingness. And yet, being all those things, aren’t we something quite important?
We are the randomness of the universe, we are chaos. We make ripples, we break the calm. Our pulse is strong and it can be heard, our colors shine far.
We are nothing but everything.
